What BPC-157 is
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (a chain of 15 amino acids) derived from a protein found in human gastric juice. It is one of the most widely studied and widely sold research peptides.
Research-use status
BPC-157 is not an approved drug. Published work on it is mostly animal and in-vitro research, and this guide does not summarise effects or uses. It is often sold alongside TB-500, including as a pre-mixed blend, and it is sold for laboratory research use only.
This describes research-use status only. It is not medical advice and says nothing about effects, uses or dosing. BPC-157 is sold for laboratory research use only.
How to find a verified BPC-157 source
Because BPC-157 is carried by nearly every vendor, quality and price vary enormously: in our audit the lowest and highest per-mg prices for the same compound differ by more than 29×. The two things that actually separate sources are a batch-matched third-party Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming identity and purity, and a vendor with a verifiable testing history. Compare both, not just price.

BPC-157: Frequently Asked Questions
Is BPC-157 legal to buy?
In the US, BPC-157 is sold as a research chemical for laboratory use only. It is not an approved drug and is not for human consumption. Vendors list it for research use only (RUO).
What should a BPC-157 COA show?
A useful COA names an independent lab, matches the specific batch you're buying, and reports both identity (mass spec / HPLC) and purity, ideally 99%+. A generic or unmatched certificate is a weak signal.
