How to verify an ILS Laboratories COA

Four steps
Find the code on the certificate
Each certificate prints an access code.
Open the laboratory's own lookup
Enter the code on the laboratory's verify page. Type the address yourself rather than following a link from the seller, and make sure the page is on the laboratory's own domain.
Compare the result with the vendor's copy
A real access code returns the report record. The product, lot, client name, test date, purity and quantity should all match; any difference in these is a material difference.
Run the control check
An invented code returns nothing. Change one character of a real code and look it up again: a lookup that answers every code proves nothing.

What a confirmation is worth in our scores
