Enter the key at the laboratory's verify-report page on trustpointelims.com. Type the address yourself rather than following a link from the seller, and make sure the page is on the laboratory's own domain.
Compare the result with the vendor's copy
A real key returns the laboratory's PDF. The product, lot, client name, test date, purity and quantity should all match; any difference in these is a material difference.
Run the control check
An invented key returns 'Invalid verification key.' Change one character of a real code and look it up again: a lookup that answers every code proves nothing.
