Is Biotech Peptides legit?
Biotech Peptides scores 5.79 out of 10 (Fair, #63 of 100) as of October 22, 2026 and passes our testing gate: 19 of the 21 products we score carry a certificate, 13 confirmed with the issuing lab (a lab we grade A); 5 of those certificates are vendor-issued or from a source whose independence we could not establish. Its strongest area is pricing (7.0/10) and its weakest is transparency (3.5/10); its operating history on record covers over six years. We also record that one certificate reports a failed result.
On lab evidence, the heaviest-weighted factor, Biotech Peptides has independently verified third-party COAs, with COA work on record from MZ Biolabs. Its lowest price per milligram in our data is on AHK-Cu (see the table below).
How this score was calculated
Every point below follows the published tables in our methodology, with the policy wording we scored and a link to where we read it. Evidence last checked October 22, 2026. Lab credibility is worked product by product from the certificates on file.
Lab credibility5.3/10
Each carried product (lab supplies excluded) is scored from the certificate on file for it, on the published lab rubric: 3 for a published certificate, then points for the laboratory, the verification key, the tests on the certificate and its purity, held to 0 to 10. A certificate that is self-issued, names no laboratory, or comes from a laboratory whose independence is not established scores a flat 2.0; a product with no certificate, a certificate the laboratory’s own record fails, or a posted copy that differs materially from the laboratory’s copy scores 0. Calculated on , the day this page was built; the date each certificate was tested is shown on its row.

Weighted mean of 21 products (2 non-core products without a certificate counted at half weight): 113.5 ÷ 20.0 = 5.675.
- −0.20LOT Lot numbers that do not identify a single batch (cap −0.2): printed lot 3141040 on both Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 no-DAC certificates; and most posted MZ Biolabs certificates print a lot that differs from the laboratory's record of the same report, with no dated laboratory correction (for example ipamorelin 3141040 against VI720260519-5 and GHRP-2 3141033 against VI8520260513-10)
- −0.20CLAIM Claims the certificates do not support (cap −0.3): Home 'Every batch is verified by a third-party lab' while Semax, Selank, Sermorelin, AOD-9604 and GHRP-6 show Biotech Peptides-watermarked certificates naming no laboratory (-0.1); home 'verified by HPLC-MS to confirm >99% purity' and About 'guarantee 99% or higher purity before any product is approved for shipment' vs MZ Biolabs HGH Frag 176-191 98.01%, GHRP-2 98.78%, Hexarelin 98.95% (-0.1)
5.675 − 0.400 = 5.275, rounded to 0.1: 5.3/10.
Testing gate: 13 of 21 products have a certificate from a directory laboratory (not tier D, not self-issued) with the key confirmed at the laboratory. That is at least half, so the vendor counts as third-party tested and no cap applies.

Audit history and why the rating changed
We re-audit vendors against their live COAs and site. Here is what most recently moved this rating, and why.

- Most recent audit · 5.95to5.79
MZ Biolabs' own record for the HGH Fragment 176-191 certificate (lot 3140029, analysed 26 July 2026) reports that identity failed: the laboratory found AOD-9604 and did not detect HGH Fragment 176-191. The copy on the vendor's site shows 98.01% purity without that result. Confirmed independently twice from the laboratory's record; the certificate now scores 0 (rule A4). Lab 5.6 to 5.3.
- Audit · 5.78to5.95
Lab score recalculated on 22 October 2026 under the published core-product rule (A1b): a missing certificate on one of the 15 most widely carried products still counts fully, while on any other product it now counts at half weight, so a broad catalogue is not penalised as much for its breadth. Lab 5.3 to 5.6.
- Audit · 5.84to5.78
Claim deductions re-checked on 22 October 2026 under the published rule (only site claims contradicted by what the certificates show), each confirmed independently from primary sources. Lab 5.4 to 5.3.
Earlier audits (4)
- Audit · 5.82to5.84
Operating history re-checked on 22 October 2026 under the published rule (earliest dated evidence of the business, including a never-parked store domain and the named operating company, looked up for every vendor): operating history 6.5 to 6.9.
- Audit · 6.02to5.82
Re-scored on 22 October 2026 under our published rubric for shipping, pricing, operating history and transparency, applied to every vendor the same day: prices re-read from the vendor's site and matched by milligrams per vial, operating history from the earliest dated evidence of the business, and policies scored item by item. shipping and refunds 7.0 to 6.5, pricing 7.2 to 7.0, operating history 6.8 to 6.5, transparency 4.5 to 3.5.
- Audit · 5.52to6.02
Certificate verification keys confirmed on 22 October 2026 at MZ Biolabs' own certificate page, which only opens in a browser, and the lab score recalculated under the uniform rubric. Lab 4.5 to 5.4.
- Audit · 4.11to5.52
Re-audited 2026-10-18, replacing a May 2026 seed score that was never properly audited. Lab rises from 0.4 to 4.5 and the testing status moves from unverified to third-party tested: 14 of 21 tracked products now show July 2026 MZ Biolabs reports, though only the BPC-157 report was confirmed in the laboratory's certificate viewer, most show lot numbers that differ from the laboratory's own link, and five products still rely on vendor-issued documents. Shipping eases from 8.5 to 7.0 because returns are refused and the refund promise has no stated terms, while the free replacement of lost or damaged parcels holds it up. Pricing falls from 9.5 to 7.2 on live prices near the market median. Tenure falls from 9.0 to 6.8 for a domain registered in January 2020. Transparency falls from 5.9 to 4.5: no legal entity is named and the stated governing law does not match the listed address. Semax and Selank are now recorded as carried.
Editor’s notes
Biotech Peptides has moved most of its catalog to certificates from MZ Biolabs, an independent laboratory in Tucson. We found MZ Biolabs reports dated July 2026 for 14 of the 21 products we track, with purity between 98.0% and 99.97%. These reports cover identity and purity only, with no endotoxin, sterility or heavy-metal testing. Each report carries a QR code to the laboratory's own certificate viewer; by 22 October 2026 we had confirmed all 14 reports there, and the BPC-157 record names Biotech Peptides as the client. On most of them the printed lot number differs from the lot shown in the laboratory's own link, and two products share one printed lot number. At our October 2026 audit, five products, including Semax, Selank and Sermorelin, showed only certificates bearing the vendor's own name with no laboratory identified, and two products showed none. Orders placed before 1 pm Pacific ship the same day by USPS Priority, and the vendor promises free replacement of damaged or lost packages. Returns are not accepted, and the refund terms are vague. Standard prices sit close to the market median. The domain dates from January 2020. Checked 23 October 2026: MZ Biolabs' own record for HGH Fragment 176-191 lot 3140029 (analysed 26 July 2026) reports that identity failed: the laboratory found AOD-9604 and did not detect HGH Fragment 176-191. The copy on Biotech Peptides' site shows 98.01% purity without the failed identity result. Under our rules a certificate whose laboratory record reports a failed test scores 0. Checked 23 October 2026: MZ Biolabs later re-issued six of the analyses on Biotech Peptides' certificates (TB-500, GHK-Cu, CJC-1295 with DAC, Ipamorelin, PT-141 and Hexarelin) to another vendor under different lot labels. This does not change Biotech Peptides' score.
