Is JD BioWorks legit?
JD BioWorks scores 6.34 out of 10 (Fair, #52 of 100) as of November 3, 2026 and passes our testing gate: all 18 products we score carry a certificate, 16 confirmed with the issuing lab (a lab we grade B+); 2 of those certificates are vendor-issued or from a source whose independence we could not establish. Its strongest area is lab testing (7.0/10); its weakest is operating history (1.0/10), with about four months of records.
On lab evidence, the heaviest-weighted factor, JD BioWorks has independently verified third-party COAs, with COA work on record from ILS Laboratories. Certificates naming PuriLab Analytical, a laboratory whose independence we could not establish, score a flat 2.0 each. Its lowest price per milligram in our data is on Glutathione (see the table below).
How this score was calculated
Every point below follows the published tables in our methodology, with the policy wording we scored and a link to where we read it. Evidence last checked October 22, 2026. Lab credibility is worked product by product from the certificates on file.
Lab credibility7.0/10
Each carried product (lab supplies excluded) is scored from the certificate on file for it, on the published lab rubric: 3 for a published certificate, then points for the laboratory, the verification key, the tests on the certificate and its purity, held to 0 to 10. A certificate that is self-issued, names no laboratory, or comes from a laboratory whose independence is not established scores a flat 2.0; a product with no certificate, a certificate the laboratory’s own record fails, or a posted copy that differs materially from the laboratory’s copy scores 0. Calculated on , the day this page was built; the date each certificate was tested is shown on its row.

Total +5: 5.0/10.
- Pricing: the 10% sale seen on 23 October 2026, which the site labelled as ending on 31 October 2026, was over on 1 November 2026; prices re-read from the store's product API that day are the regular prices, most of them a little different from the regular figures the site displayed on 23 October. NAD+ 500 mg shows a November special with a stated end date of 30 November 2026, which is not counted (rule E). A welcome code is not counted.
- Lab evidence: on 3 November 2026 the newest tirzepatide (JD-2TR) certificate posted was a PuriLab Analytical report of 29 October 2026 for the 60 mg size, confirmed at PuriLab's lookup with the laboratory copy identical to the posted one. Under A6 the product is scored from it; PuriLab is tier D in our directory, so it scores the flat 2.0, and the lab subscore moved from 7.3 to 7.0.

Audit history and why the rating changed
We re-audit vendors against their live COAs and site. Here is what most recently moved this rating, and why.
See the full score history and chart
- Most recent audit · 6.50to6.34
Certificates re-checked on 3 November 2026. The newest JD-2TR (tirzepatide) certificate the company posts is now a PuriLab Analytical report of 29 October 2026 for the 60 mg size, which resolves at PuriLab's own lookup. Under the published rule that the newest certificate per product counts (A6), tirzepatide is now scored from it, and because PuriLab's site names no operating company or street address it is not an established laboratory in our directory, so the certificate earns the minimum score. The earlier ILS certificates for the same product remain posted. Lab evidence 7.3 to 7.0.
- Audit · 6.49to6.50
Market medians updated after the 2 November re-checks pricing 5.8 to 5.9.
- Audit · 6.71to6.49
A Wolverine blend of BPC-157 and TB-500 was added to the catalogue in November 2026. Its certificate is from PuriLab Analytical, whose report resolves at its own lookup, but whose site names no operating company or street address, so it is not an established laboratory in our directory and the certificate earns the minimum score. Lab 7.7 to 7.3.

Market medians updated after Delix Labs and Ageless Peptides were added pricing 6.0 to 5.8.
- Audit · 6.75to6.74
Market medians updated after S1Research was added pricing 6.1 to 6.0.
- Audit · 6.74to6.75
Pricing recomputed on 27 October 2026: listings added for a newly reviewed vendor (Peptide Pro) moved the market median for the same products pricing 6.0 to 6.1.
- Audit · 6.75to6.74
Pricing recomputed on 26 October 2026: listings added for a newly reviewed vendor (StudzPeptides) moved the market median for the same products: pricing 6.1 to 6.0.
- Audit · 6.78to6.75
Pricing recomputed on 24 October 2026 after Bionova Peptides' first-review prices were recorded; other vendors move only through the market medians: pricing 6.3 to 6.1.
- Audit · 6.90to6.78
Prices re-checked on 23 October 2026 under rule E (standing prices only): prices taken from a time-limited sale were replaced with the vendor's standing price, current prices were re-read, and other vendors' price changes moved the market medians pricing 7.1 to 6.3.
- Audit · 7.16to6.90
Re-scored on 22 October 2026 under our published rubric for shipping, pricing, operating history and transparency, applied to every vendor the same day: prices re-read from the vendor's site and matched by milligrams per vial, operating history from the earliest dated evidence of the business, and policies scored item by item. shipping and refunds 8.0 to 6.5, pricing 6.0 to 7.1, operating history 2.0 to 1.0, transparency 6.5 to 5.0.
- Audit · 7.71to7.16
Lab score recalculated on 22 October 2026 under the uniform published rubric applied to every vendor: ILS Laboratories, which issued certificates relied on here, does not publish ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, so the accreditation point no longer applies; fixed deductions apply for one lot number printed on certificates for different compounds. Lab 8.7 to 7.7. Note added 22 October 2026: PJLA's register lists ILS Laboratories' accreditation (certificate L25-631) as suspended from 22 October 2026; the accreditation point still does not apply (check L6).
- Audit · 7.05to7.71
Lab 7.5 to 8.7. The earlier 7.5 had no recorded arithmetic. Recomputed under our published rule, which averages the lab score over the products we list and counts a listed product with no certificate as zero: all 17 listed products carry ILS Laboratories certificates confirmed at the laboratory's portal, from a laboratory that states ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, with no endotoxin or sterility testing. A small deduction applies because the same lot labels appear on certificates for different compounds.
- Audit · 7.12to7.05
Catalog refreshed at the vendor's request: regular prices rose on most non-GLP products and five products were added. All five new certificates verified at ILS. Lab, shipping, tenure and transparency unchanged.
Editor’s notes
JD BioWorks is a California-based vendor whose testing runs through ILS Laboratories in San Diego. PJLA's register lists its ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation (certificate L25-631) as suspended from 22 October 2026, so it earns no accreditation point. Its public library holds lot-specific ILS certificates for the 17 products it sold through October 2026 (retatrutide was discontinued that month), and we resolved every certificate we checked against ILS's own records, each naming JD BioWorks as the client. Since late October 2026 two certificates come from PuriLab Analytical instead: a Wolverine blend of BPC-157 and TB-500 added in November, and the newest tirzepatide report (60 mg, 29 October 2026), which under our rule is the one that counts for that product. Both resolve at PuriLab's own lookup and name JD BioWorks as the client, but PuriLab's site names no operating company or street address, so in our directory it is not established as an identifiable laboratory and those certificates earn the minimum lab score. The panel covers HPLC purity, identity, net peptide content and a fentanyl screen. That is solid and honestly presented, but lighter than the top-ranked vendors, with no endotoxin, sterility or heavy-metals testing. The earlier ILS tirzepatide certificates for the 10mg, 20mg, 40mg and 60mg sizes remain posted and match ILS's own records. Refund terms are tighter than most: damage or wrong-item reports must be made within 3 days, unopened returns within 7, and returns need prior approval. At the regular prices re-read on 1 November 2026, after the October sale ended, prices sit about 16% above the market median across the 17 products compared. The company states its California operations and lists a phone number but names no principals on the site. It has traded under this name only since mid-2026, which is what holds the operating-history score down.
