Testing gate applies (limit 6.00); this score is already below it

Third-party testing not established. The gate records that testing could not be verified; it is not a finding of a quality or safety problem.

Is Spartan Peptides legit?

Spartan Peptides scores 3.38 out of 10 (Poor, #87 of 100) as of November 6, 2026 and does not meet our testing gate: 6 of the 17 products we score carry a certificate, 6 confirmed with the issuing lab (a lab we grade A). Its strongest area is shipping and refunds (5.5/10) and its weakest is pricing (1.0/10); its operating history on record covers over a year.

On lab evidence, the heaviest-weighted factor, Spartan Peptides has no third-party testing we could independently verify, with COA work on record from MZ Biolabs. The testing gate applies because that testing could not be independently verified (Third-party testing not established); its limit for Spartan Peptides is 6.00, and this score is already below it. Its lowest price per milligram in our data is on NAD+ (see the table below).

How this score was calculated

Every point below follows the published tables in our methodology, with the policy wording we scored and a link to where we read it. Evidence last checked October 22, 2026. Lab credibility is worked product by product from the certificates on file.

Lab credibility3.4/10

Each carried product (lab supplies excluded) is scored from the certificate on file for it, on the published lab rubric: 3 for a published certificate, then points for the laboratory, the verification key, the tests on the certificate and its purity, held to 0 to 10. A certificate that is self-issued, names no laboratory, or comes from a laboratory whose independence is not established scores a flat 2.0; a product with no certificate, a certificate the laboratory’s own record fails, or a posted copy that differs materially from the laboratory’s copy scores 0. Calculated on , the day this page was built; the date each certificate was tested is shown on its row.

Weighted mean of 17 products (6 non-core products without a certificate counted at half weight): 50.5 ÷ 14.0 = 3.607.

  • −0.20LOT Lot numbers that do not identify a single batch (cap −0.2): lot PEP-04-26 printed on all six certificates (six compounds)

3.607 − 0.200 = 3.407, rounded to 0.1: 3.4/10.

Testing gate: 6 of 17 products have a certificate from a directory laboratory (not tier D, not self-issued) with the key confirmed at the laboratory. That is fewer than half, so the testing cap applies (see the methodology).

Pricing1.0/10

We compared Spartan Peptides’s current single-vial prices on 17 products, each matched to the same product and milligrams per vial, with the median price of the other vendors. Its typical price (the median ratio across those products) is 201% above the market median (ratio 3.01), which the published scale maps to 1.0/10. checked

Operating history3.1/10

Counted from December 6, 2024, the earliest dated evidence of this business operating: 22.5 months as of October 22, 2026, which the published table maps to 3.1/10.

  • Lab re-checked on 2 November 2026 (issue #25): the TB-500 certificate ID was confirmed at MZ Biolabs, so all six MZ Biolabs certificates are confirmed at the laboratory. Epithalon 25 mg and NAD+ 750 mg, both in stock as single vials with no published certificate, were added to the products we list (17). Their single-vial prices were entered on 2 November 2026; the pricing subscore above is from the 15 products priced before that and is recomputed with the next market-median run.

Audit history and why the rating changed

We re-audit vendors against their live COAs and site. Here is what most recently moved this rating, and why.

See the full score history and chart

  1. Most recent audit · 3.32to3.38

Lab score recomputed under the published rule on 6 November 2026: lab 3.3 to 3.4.

  2. Audit · 3.43to3.32

Lab evidence re-checked on 2 November 2026. The TB-500 certificate's ID, read from its QR code, was confirmed at MZ Biolabs, so all six published certificates are now confirmed at the laboratory. Epithalon and NAD+, both sold on the site without a published certificate, were added to the products we list, so certificates cover 6 of 17 products and the third-party testing cap still applies. Lab 3.5 to 3.3.

  3. Audit · 2.94to3.43

Two products added on 24 October 2026: MOTS-c and the CJC-1295 no DAC / ipamorelin blend, both sold on the vendor's site and covered by MZ Biolabs certificates (lot PEP-04-26) confirmed at the laboratory. Lab 2.6 to 3.5.

Earlier audits (8)
  1. Audit · 2.66to2.94

Lab score recalculated on 22 October 2026 under the published core-product rule (A1b): a missing certificate on one of the 15 most widely carried products still counts fully, while on any other product it now counts at half weight, so a broad catalogue is not penalised as much for its breadth. Lab 2.1 to 2.6.

  2. Audit · 2.55to2.66

Claim deductions re-checked on 22 October 2026 under the published rule that a claim deduction applies only where a site claim is contradicted by what its certificates show, never for products merely lacking a certificate. Lab 1.9 to 2.1.

  3. Audit · 2.58to2.55

Re-scored on 22 October 2026 under the published rulebook, which now gives one rule for each judgement call and applies it to every vendor: transparency 2.5 to 2.0.

  4. Audit · 2.36to2.58

Re-scored on 22 October 2026 under version 2 of our published rules. The MZ Biolabs certificate IDs for BPC-157, GHK-Cu and Tesamorelin were confirmed at the laboratory, which raises those certificates. The testing gate is now computed from the certificates: 3 of 13 products have a certificate confirmed at a directory laboratory, fewer than the half required. Lab 1.5 to 1.9. Score 2.36 to 2.58.

  5. Audit · 3.34to2.36

Re-scored on 22 October 2026 under our published rubric for shipping, pricing, operating history and transparency, applied to every vendor the same day: prices re-read from the vendor's site and matched by milligrams per vial, operating history from the earliest dated evidence of the business, and policies scored item by item. shipping and refunds 6.5 to 5.5, pricing 3.3 to 1.0, operating history 9.0 to 3.1, transparency 5.3 to 2.5.

  6. Audit · 3.39to3.34

Lab score recalculated on 22 October 2026 under the uniform published rubric applied to every vendor: every listed product was rescored on the same fixed certificate points, with fixed deductions for one lot number printed on certificates for different compounds and site statements about testing that the certificates do not bear out. Lab 1.6 to 1.5.

  7. Audit · 5.26to3.39

Lab evidence re-checked on 20 October 2026 under our coverage rule, which counts a listed product with no published certificate as zero in the lab average. Certificates cover 4 of the 13 products we list that the vendor offers for sale. Lab 5.0 to 1.6.

  8. Audit · 4.76to5.26

Re-audited from live COAs. Verified 6 MZ Biolabs reports (identity + purity, no sterility/heavy-metals); shipping was raised. COA coverage is still thin across the catalog, which caps the score.

Editor’s notes

Spartan Peptides publishes MZ Biolabs (Tucson, Arizona) certificates for six compounds, which we read on 22 July 2026: BPC-157 (99.95%), GHK-Cu (99.77%), MOTS-c (99.75%), tesamorelin (99.97%), TB-500 (99.44%) and the CJC-1295/ipamorelin blend (99.85%). Each covers HPLC purity and MS identity only, with no endotoxin, sterility or heavy-metals testing. On 22 October 2026 we confirmed the BPC-157, GHK-Cu and tesamorelin certificate IDs at MZ Biolabs, on 24 October 2026 the MOTS-c and CJC-1295/ipamorelin IDs, and on 2 November 2026 the TB-500 ID, read from the QR code on the posted certificate, so all six are now confirmed at the laboratory. All six print the same lot code. Since 24 October 2026 we also list MOTS-c and the CJC-1295/ipamorelin blend, and since 2 November 2026 Epithalon and NAD+, all sold on the site. The six certificates cover 6 of the 17 products we list; the other eleven have no published certificate, including retatrutide, tirzepatide, semaglutide, semax, PT-141, AOD-9604, Epithalon and NAD+, which is why the lab score is low and the third-party testing cap applies. In May 2026 the site's quality page said it did not share laboratory reports; on 30 June 2026 it was publishing these six. When we re-read prices on 22 October 2026, they ran about three times the market median across the 15 products we compared. As of July 2026, orders before 2pm shipped the same day, free shipping applied above a minimum, and the company shipped to the US and Canada. The site gives a San Diego location but no street address, entity or founding year.
